Reaching an ambitious global agreement at the COP21 climate discussions in Paris was stressed throughout 2015 as a the key objective for the European Commission. President Juncker described the agreement reached on 12 December 2015 at the UNFCCC as a success for the European Union. The question is, however, what will the real impact of the Paris Agreement be on EU policies?
