Based in Brussels and with more than 13 years’ agency experience, Erik leads Weber Shandwick’s Belgian market operation. Together with his team of communications experts, he develops, implements and manages integrated programmes for a range of companies and organisations.
A generalist with extensive experience across a number of sectors including food & beverage, healthcare, professional services and technology, Erik’s expertise includes corporate profiling, crisis and issues management, integrated communications, product/brand launch campaigns, stakeholder and influencer engagement activity and thought leadership programmes. His client portfolio includes AB InBev, Bayer, Abbott/St Jude Medical, Continental Foods Europe, Nestlé, Roche Diagnostics, Securex and VLAM.
Before joining Weber Shandwick in 2014, Erik worked as a Senior Consultant with FINN PR in Brussels and prior to that, as Account Director, New Media at MindShake PR.
Erik is an avid traveller and music lover. He studied Communications Management, specialising in PR, at Artevelde College in Ghent. Born in Belgium, Erik is a native Dutch speaker and fluent in English, French and German.
